A child’s birthday should be full of fun in their honor. William Umstead State Park in Cary was the perfect backdrop for this “camp adventure” party.
Camper’s checked in and began creating their pet rocks. After everyone arrived they received their “gear”-flashlights, maps, and compasses- before setting out on a woodland hike/scavenger hunt. Lunch was served camp style-around the campfire! A blindfolded adventure into the balloon tent landed them a cool prize before making their s’mores. Smokey the Bear was kind enough to lift the fire ban just in the nick of time-so campers reported to the blazing fireplace for a quick game of hot potato before roasting their marshmallows. Then they mixed up a custom bag of trail mix. Hobo sticks with bandanas filled with goodies were the parting favor for all the little campers.
Camp was such a hit, that there is already a waiting list for next year! HI HO HI HO-off to camp we go!

Once upon a time a childhood dream came true on a magical spring day for one little Birthday princess. Princess Sarah and her friends created their own tiaras and gem covered mirrors when all of a sudden, "Bippity, bobbity, boop" and one by one they were transformed into the most beautiful little princesses.
High noon was fast approaching and they were each seated in their royal attire for tea time. They enjoyed jelly sandwiches, fruit and veggies with that yummy pink tea. Princess Bingo was a lot of fun for everyone! The ice cream sundaes were covered in the most magical toppings in all of the kingdom and the custom cupcakes were priceless!
We read the Princess Bubble, a modern day fairytale and then with bubblewands in hand we enjoyed our own fairyland outside. And all the little princesses lived happily ever after in their magical butterfly gardens!

Chinese astrology enhanced this evening celebration as guests celebrated the “Year of the Pig” in style. The luxurious feel of gold & red surrounded this elegant affair. Traditional Chinese cuisine accompanied chopsticks with long noodles to symbolize long life. This 60th birthday gathering of friends and family would not have been complete without a group “roasting” of the guest of honor-“the old sow”!
Confucius Say: “Treat your guests to a royal “fest”!

Boy Oh Boy Oh Boy! This “mother to be” will soon find out who the true “king of the jungle” is. Baby boys are such a bundle of joy!
Ten close friends gathered for an intimate luncheon to share tips and fond memories of their own precious wee ones. Onesies, burp cloths and a custom designed diaper cake were adorned with this baby’s monogram in simple multi-colored circles. Blue, green and brown created a fresh modern ambience to the overall feel of the day.
Friends enjoyed great food and completed a baby questionnaire to test their “motherly instincts”. To wash down their polka dot cupcakes and truffles the women raced down a bottle of milk. In honor of the baby nicknamed “Bean” they guessed how many jelly beans were in his bottle. While the mother-to-be opened gifts the guests attempted to list popular songs with “baby” in the title.
The beginning of this mother’s new journey has just begun and it truly was an honor to watch as she was surrounded by so much love and support.
